Who We Are
Mumbai Anchors Sports Team was founded In 2017 and became a part of India’s First Unified Poker League. Mumbai Anchors Becomes the 1st Team to Score PSL points, thanks to our Pro Kartik Ved for winning the Holdem Event and Getting 30k Poker Sports League Points for the Team.

To promote and provide playing opportunities to individuals at all levels and ages and to enhance the sporting experience of members. Mumbai Anchors are committed to providing the best possible environment for our players to reach their maximum playing potential through excellence in coaching and support. To provide the best possible poker instruction in India, giving each player, whether youth or adult, the opportunity to reach their individual potential.

Meet the Founders
Puneet Mehra, Mehul Shah and Rishikesh Shah are the trio in charge of the team.
Puneet Mehra
After completing his graduation Puneet did a crash course in Textile engineering and joined his father’s textile business to soon realise that his interests lie elsewhere. He started his professional career in 2001 in the IT industry to then co-founded a sports education company in 2011 servicing schools across the country. Puneet enjoys all sport disciplines and spends his time playing Cricket, Badminton, Football and Table Tennis.
piyush Makwana
Piyush comes from a family of Interior Designers. He landed up in his family business at a very young age as he realised his passion. He spends most of his time reading up on new methods of house and office renovation and smart designing. During the time he is not working he loves to participate in any form of sport and is a very capable Cricketer.
Mehul shah
Mehul Shah is the new generation leader heading the Anchor Group. Under his leadership the company scaled new heights in the market expanding firm’s wings. Anchor Pens and Great White switches are the existing business he is overseeing. He is a pioneer in manufacturing of wires, lights, paints and fans. Shah is also an angel investor in startups like sportobuddy and miracle. His passion for sports like cricket & table tennis is unmatched
manish dholakia
Manish is the Managing Director of Dholakia Group which is in the business of estate developing and Building contracts. Having joined his business at a very young age Manish knew he had to be a Jack of all Trades and therefore started increasing his knowledge in Architecture and law, his close friends can vouch for the immense knowledge Manish displays in these fields. Manish is an avid reader and loves history and Mythology. Manish’s passion for cricket has seen him active in sports like Cricket, chess and football even at this age. He loves his music and takes the role of a DJ in all social gatherings.
rishikesh shah
Rishi is a Bachelor of Engineering – Electronics and also holds an MBA Marketing degree. Apart from being the Managing Director of Rivipac Polymers Pvt Ltd he also holds key positions as Director in Mul Health Care Products, Laxmika Orbis, Mul Dentpro Pvt Ltd. His main business is manufacturing PET Sheet and Articles, using recycled waste bottles. After completing his studies from the U.S., Rishi joined his dad in his business in the field of Distribution, Finance, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Construction. Apart from running his personal Venture Rivipac which he started as his own, he also oversees his father’s businesses as well. Being an avid sportsman, Rishi devotes his spare time to Cricket and Golf.
